Hi all,

After the death of my mother last year to lung cancer I have become interested in alternative methods to avoid getting any auto-immune disease and or how to cure it. I would value input as to the true benefits of using ozone steam therapy and any other therapy that is helpful.

Hi Debbie:

Ozone Sauna Therapy is one of my personal favorites. However, there has not been much independent research.

One document that is a need to read is Saul Pressman's Story of Ozone. It can be found by doing a search online.

However, it is a common mistake that people think that ozone sauna therapy introduces ozone into the body. This is not so ( reference Bocci's proof and research that shows that the body has a protection mechanism that prevents ozone from being adsorbed into the body via the skin ).

I believe that the benefit of ozone sauna therapy is derived from complex organic peroxides that are literally produced in the oils of the skin. Activated oxygen, released by these organic peroxides is likely what is doing the work in-body.

I will eventually have further research to offer, but it could be quite some time.

I really want to learn about this as I am very knowledgable of lots of othe alternative therapies except this one. I know there are lots of benefits but am curious of any major drawbacks or negative reasons to not do this. If anyone knows of any in depth articles abou this, please post.
