Hello Jason

I have had the condition known as 'pica' for a long time, I did not even realise it was a known condition and felt I was just 'wierd' for sometimes having a craving for clay/chalk/dry paint.

When I found out about Bentonite, I was very excited because it helps me ingest what I was craving for, however in this instance knowing Bentonite is good for me,

I have hydrated bentonite by 'blending' it as I find it so difficult to mix manually in water but I find I love sometimes having it dry (although I ensure I drink water with it), is it safe to ingest dry Bentonite?

I have seen a lot of information about the 'dry ingestion' of Terramin but none about Bentonite, can you help?

Regards
P.

Hi Pasma!

Thank you for posting!

I'm VERY glad that you've found a way to make your cravings work FOR you.

There is only one caution when considering consuming dry bentonite: Remember that sodium bentonite swells 4 to 5 times by volume once added to water. Therefore you don't want to consume copious amounts of dry bentonite at the same time.

Don't forget to check out our dedicated section on sodium bentonite. I'm CERTAIN you'll find the wealth of information very informative:

Also, remember that you don't have to limit yourself to one particular clay!

Kind Regards,

Many corrective manufacturers add bentonite to their articles to allure baptize from the added layers of the derma to the surface. Whilst this bentonite can "puff up" apparent layers of the skin, it does so at the amount of dehydrating the lower, active layers of skin, damaging the beef in the process.
