Hi!

I have some semi-feral cats I want to treat for herpes (nose) but they won't let me catch them to use a syringe.

They will however take medicine mixed with food in a saucer but I have only heard of adding CS to drinking liquids.

I presume that it because it is inactivated or not absorbed if mixed with food.

I can't add the extra in the drinking water as I have other cats that only need the daily maintenance amount in it.

All I can think of is to add the therapeutic dose to the drinking water & let all of the cats, even the healthy ones, get it, as apparently CS in non toxic, even in large doses.

Any suggestions???????

My opinion is that there should be no concern about dosage levels, within reason, of isolated silver ( 5 - 15 PPM ) for all of your cats.

Water is a much better carrier for isolated silver than food.

As a personal user of CS, I can assure that it would be fine for your cats...including the "healthy" ones. We used to add silver to the drinking water of our dogs and it helped them with worms and actually kept them from getting sick!!! So it would actually be wonderful for your cats in the long run....just because they're healthy now doesnt mean they always will be ya kno? I had a little weenie dog that my grandma had given me when I was born and when I was about 13-14 yrd old, she got cancer. We took her to the vets and they told us there was nothing they could do for her, well we found out about Silver and got her on it hot and heavy and literally got rid of the cancer and she's healthy as can be right now!! Im 19 and she's still alive and doin wonderful!! Around that same time, my uncle had just came out to the family that he was gay and shortly after we discovered he had full blown AIDS, Dr's said he wasnt going to be alive by the end of the week.....we had him drink a bottle of Silver everyday 1100ppm and 2 months later the Dr's couldnt find any trace of AIDS in his system at all. So what all this boils down to, is I swear by Silver and will be the first to tell you that it would be one of the best things for your cats!!!
