i think my use of a mud bath is a little different than everyone elses but im hoping to get some help.

i am throwing a spa party for my girlfriends birthday and was interested in making a mud bath. this was the only site i could find that explained what i would need. seeing how the water situation isnt the greatest, im not sure what to do there. my thoughts were to get a little wading pool and fill that with the mud bath, not really being able to sit completely in it, just more being able to rub it on.

does anyone think this would work? if so, seeing how i cannot get a filter to filter the water, what type of water should or could i use? would it be bad to use just bottled water or distilled water?

anything would help out...thank you so much!

Hi -

Any quality natural water would be best. Distilled water is not the best to add to clay ( unless there is a medical reason to do so ), as the end result is very drying to the skin.

You could use high quality spring water, sea waters, or even distilled or R.O. water with sea salt added.

The wading pool idea would work... However, you may find that the clay cools too quickly. If it is a hot summer day out where you are, that could be refreshing, of course.

Sorry about the delay in my response.

Kind Regards,
