Hi
I ve been eating only fruit for breakfast. Fresh greens and grated veg for lunch and steamed veggies or broth for evening meal. I have been doing the Bentonite and Psyllium magma morning and evening on an empty stomach. I have had one bowl movement since starting the magma. Should i be concerned? I am now taking a break from the clay but have been continuing the Psyllium.
I was waking up feeling pretty rough, shakey, sweaty and light headed. I was hoping this was the detox reaction...But i'm worried that it is something else.
Thanks for any replies. |

Greetings:
When clay use causes constipation, it usually means that the entire digestive system is sluggish, and needs work.
One may switch to a non-swelling clay, such as Argiletz' Illite or Terramin.
However, it may be a good idea to do a full bowel cleanse ( such as using Dr. Schulze's #1 bowel cleansing formula ).
Clay itself does not cause constipation; the constipation is a symptom.
Either way, I recommend cutting down your use of clay until you successfully address the digestive issue. ( i.e. you can use your clay and psyllium once every 2 days, or 3 days, or on a schedule that works for your digestive system ).
P.S.: If all else fails, and you are certain your diet is right for your body, and you still cannot seem to get the digestive system in order, then one may consider using an HCL Betaine Supplement with meals.
