| we never used to have chlorine in our water. For the last 10 days we have had to boil our water, cause they found some coli...for the last 2 days, they have been putting chlorine. I just made heaps of clay gel and used the chlorinated water . Is it ok for me to still use this gel? (i realize would be better to use an unchlorinated water). |

Hi -
I'm sure you could use the clay gel without any real problem.
However, water is a very important thing to consider when hydrating clay. If the water is too pure ( such as distilled water ), it is quite caustic and causes the clay to act as a skin irritant, in some cases.
Therefore, the best waters are free from undesireable contaminants, and yet rich in natural minerals.
Kind Regards,

In order for the clay to be most pure, just as Jason suggested you want to use the cleanest ingredients that you can find. So even though it isn't ideal for the water to be chlorinated, I think that it should be okay to use the clay. Plus I would hate to see it go to waste after you made it. Good luck!
