I presume bath tubs should not be made of cast iron or any metals for clay bath. What is better, plastic or fiber glass?

I've been think about that question for some time. My answer: Porcelain.

That answer tells you how messed up one can get when over-thinking something, eh?

Fiberglass is the obvious choice due to its molecular makeup: SiO4... Provided that we can trust that the manfacturers are making a pure grade of fiberglass.
