|
|
| When mixing 1 teaspoon bentonite, and 1 teaspoon of psyllium in an 8oz glass of water and letting it hydrate for 10-15 minutes, the gel becomes so thick that I can not drink it any more. Any suggestions? |

Hi -
You are probably using a high volumizing sodium bentonite ( different clays hyrate differently ).
Either use twice the amount of water, of reduce the amount of clay by 1/2.
Kind Regards, |

For one clay needs to soak in water no less than 3 hours before being able to mix and drink it. I could not mix the 2 together or I gagged. I found it much easier to mix clay in water and in another glass the psylium in apple juice which I used as a chaser to wash the clay down.
Clay takes hours to soak up all the water. If you try to mix and drink right away you will have huge, icky clumps. Make it ahead of time.
