Can toxin re-enter the body if the clay is left on the body for too long? Or, its a one-direction thing, once the toxins are trapped inside the clay, they cannot leech out. There is no harm leaving the clay on for too long. The only down side is that it can be uncomfortable pulling dried clay off the skin.

I don't know the answer to your question. I wish I did. Someone should be here to answer these, but apparently that is not happening.
It would be my guess that the clay holds onto the toxic properties, but I don't know that for sure.
And, if it were me, I wouldn't pull dried clay off my skin. I would wet it first and then rinse it off. I would also maybe do this in a bucket of water rather than washing clay down your sink pipes. I might be wrong about that too, though, I don't know. I suppose it would depend on how large an area you are treating and how much clay is involved. _________________ Clay-basket
