Hello,

I am trying to create a magma with the calcium Bentonite following direction from this page. However, It seems as if I either doing something wrong or this clay does not swell. I added about a 3 inch layer of clay followed by twice the amount of water. I added more water later because all the water was rapidly absorbed by the clay. The clay is all moisture but not with a gel-like consistency. Anyone has experience with making magma? if so, i would greatly appreciate your help.
