I would like to inform those who might be reading this that I have just finished writing an e-book on the Siberian clays - "All about Rapan" - with facts on Rapan science, product uses, applications and recipes for health and beauty. Here is the link to those who might be interested:

Best wishes to all

Hi Galina:
Excellent E-book! The best I've read on muds/clays.
I would like to remind readers that when one is adding ultra-pure organic substances to clays ( only ultra-pure substances should be used, and carefully ), that these formulations should be made at the time they are used, then used, and NOT stored for future use.
In other words, if one adds ACV ( apple cider vinegar ) and aloe to clay, this cannot be stored for a month and then used. It must be used while fresh.
Also, I believe caution should be applied when using H2O2 with clays. It is possible that too much activated oxygen released could break the aluminum silicate bond, freeing up aluminum ions. Until this has been properly studied, it's always good to be cautious.
Thanks for writing this. Leave it to the Russians to come up with a warming clay made with Vodka!

Hi Jason!
Thank you so much for the good words about the e-book. I agree with your remarks about adding ultra-pure organic ingredients - will make it clear in my book too.
And yes - vodka may be too strong, but can be so warming in winter months, especially in compresses. However, one needs to be cautious.
My best wishes
