Hi -- Please, could you post a detailed explanation of how to make Montmorillonite clay packs as opposed to compresses and poultices? I understand packs are thicker and more potent. I've been sick for many years, with weird neurological problems that were dismissed as psychological until I was found to be extremely deficient in vitamin B12. This deficiency was treated but most of my symptoms remained. Doctors could not find anything wrong. More than a decade ago I was diagnosed with moderate to severe gum disease. All my limited health insurance could offer was to remove my teeth and give me dentures. I declined. I've taken good care of my gums and teeth but my gums kept receding and I kept being sick. Recently I realized that it is not just my gums. My upper jaw has moved forward crowding my upper lip. I cannot reach my upper gum with my tongue or bite my upper lip. My smile comes out distorted. Yes, it's surreal and terrifying. I have appointments with several kinds of doctors next week. But I want to start clay therapy for whatever it's worth. I hope you realize that at this point I don't need any horror stories --I have one of my own -- but rather positive advice if only for the chance to try and stop the progress of this horror.
The way I planned to use clay is to cut a piece of cloth that goes up 1/2 inch around the base of my nose, then parallel to my eyes and then goes down covering my lower face and part of my neck. Then I'd put about 1 inch thick layer of hydrated clay and apply it to my face. Is this the correct way to do it? Can I put gauze between the clay and my face so that clay doesn't get inside my mouth? How much water do I mix the Montmorillonite with to obtain the right consistency? I would just mix the clay with filtered water and/or distilled water which is what I have available. How should I proceed with the treatment? Change the clay throughout the day or leave the pack overnight? I don't have the energy to search through the website and find what I need. I also have no idea about the compounds you mention to mix the clay with nor know how to obtain them. Please let me know if you think I can get any benefit from using the clay mixed with water or need other components and where to find them. Thank you very much for your help. |
