Hello Jason,
I am a 25 year old male from India. For a long time I am suffering from IBS and more presicely intestinal infection. I have tried everything for curing it form Allopathy to Homeopathy to natural cure, everything. But nothing has helped me yet. Few days back I came across concept of colon cleansing and also to your site. What I am planning is to go for a colon cleansing program through Colonix. On looking at this product ingredients I found that it doesn't contain any Bentonite. But after going through all the materials on your site I am very convinced about the cleaning power of Bentonite. So my questions are:
1. Can I use bentonite with colonix for a proper cleaning ?
2. If yes which bentonite to use Sodium or Calcium. We have both bentonites available in India and both are brown in color.
3. How much quantity to use per day?
4. Colonix recommends 8 galss of water with their product. Do I need to take additional water for bentonite used.
5. Should I add psyllium to bentonite as colonix contains psyllium.
One more thing is I have never tried P&S shakes. Does these shakes also give same results as colonix, as you have vast experience of using bentonite.
Kindly reply me as soon as possible.
Warm Regards
Abhishek |

Few more questions:
After reading some reviews about Colonix I came to know that it contains some harmful herbs like Senna. Should I take this inspite of all these harmful herbs and it also take 3 months to clean so i think its a long time.
In some of your post you are recommending Dr. Richard Schultze's Intestinal formula #1 for intense cleaning. Is this formula also work like Colonix. Please give me your proper recommendation, because if there is something better and safer than Colonix I will go for that. Also is taking P&B Shakes help in removing worms and parasites from intestines. And also how long will it take to properly clean my colon.

Hi Abhishek:
I cannot really comment upon "Colonix", as I don't have experience with it.
Herbs like Senna can usually be used for short periods of time without consequence.
With the use of bentonite, you need to adjust your protocols based on what happens... i.e. how your body responds.
I would start out with sodium bentonite. I would use about a tablespoonful mixed with water. If you tolerate psyllium well, then use an equal amount of psyllium with the bentonite.

Read the above article about the entire digestive system.
If the use of sodium bentonite causes constipation, use activated charcoal with the bentonite. If you still experience problems, switch from the sodium bentonite to a non-swelling calcium bentonite.
In some cases, doing these types of internal cleanses can eliminate parasitic problems. In other cases, it will not.
After three days or so of being on the bentonite, you then need to look at your symptomology to understand what needs to be done next.
"IBS" is a very broad term... So is intestinal infection!
Usually, a damaged colon is a result of other factors. One needs to be certain that these other factors have been addressed... such as diet, lifestyle, etc.
Kind Regards,
