Hello! As my user name (Believer) indicates, I'm a believer in the use of clay both internally and externally!
At first I was a sceptic, I must admit. I told my wife, "I'm sold on the sell-ability of the clay, but I'm not sure I'm sold on the clay itself."
I was introduced to Calcium Bentonite Clay several years ago when family members began selling dry and hydrated clay. They talked about how great it was for EVERYTHING and about all the testimonials of "miracle cures" the clay produced throughout the ages. My wife was sold, and started using the clay both internally and externally right away.
I was doubtful that this "swelling clay" was much more than "snake oil" reinvented.
Was I ever wrong!
Here's my story at this point of my journey...
A couple years ago I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes. I was given a perscription of pills to take (supposedly for the rest of my life) and told to lose weight and change my eating habits. I filled the perscription and started taking the pills and sticking my finger(s) several times a day, and got on a low-carb diet.
After losing 30 pounds (to date) and sticking with the low-carb diet, I no longer have to take the pills, and my blood sugar level stays exactly where it should all the time, and I don't have sore fingertips . So where does using the clay come into play here.
Being on a low-carb diet like the Adkin's Diet takes some getting used to. The hardest part for me was giving up things I'd grown up eating - biscuits and gravy, chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and gravy, and all that wonderful pasta! Sugar, too ... no more Zingers or Apple pies for me.
But there are sugar-free, low-carb sweets I can have on this diet, and I do like my sweets! Only problem with that is the sugar alcohol in these sweets has a nasty side-effect in the form of diarrhea. Until I found the secret of drinking the calcium bentonite clay, that is! And to think I discovered this aspect of clay use by accident!
See, when I first started using the clay it was for another condition totally unrelated. All my life I've dealt with warts. I'd have them removed from one part of my body only to have them reappear somewhere else. I learned that warts are the result of a virus that has no cure, so I thought I was doomed to deal with this all my life. There was one nasty looking wart on the right side of my nose just below my eye that bothered me more than any I'd ever dealt with. It didn't hurt ... it just looked nasty, and it was too close to my eye to use any of the commercial "wart remover" products on. So not too long ago I decided to start using clay on the wart. But I wanted to do more than just get rid of the wart ... I wanted to do "something" to insure it wouldn't come back. So I decided to start drinking liquid clay, too, in the hopes of removing once and for all this virus from my body.
I can't sit here and tell you that I know the virus that causes warts is gone. I can tell you, though, that the wart on my nose is almost gone, and it no longer looks like a booger stuck to the side of my face ! I can tell you that I can eat sugar-free candy and have diet rootbeer floats with sugar-free vanilla ice cream and not have to worry about sitting in the bathroom for hours! I also believe the liquid clay taken internally helps a great deal with keeping my sugar level correct and controlling my weight. I feel better than I have in years, and I believe the clay has played a big part in how I feel!
Thank you for taking the time to read this long post. As you can see, I'm no longer a sceptic, and I'm sure I've only scratched the surface of the benifits of using the clay! |
