Hello,
I just bought a CS Generator called Silver Smart. I made some CS but now I'm getting scared to use it... How can I tell how big the particals are? It meters what ppm of CS is there but it says nothing about the partical size.
I read on here that there is a salt test to test CS??? can some one tell me what that is all about please?
Have A Great Day,

Hi -
Unfortunately, there is no way to actually tell exactly how small the silver particles are without having a sample analyzed by a lab.
The "salt" test is only useful to tell if you have ionic silver.
I don't know anything about the particular generator you've purchased, so I can't comment on the quality. I visited a site that appeared to sell the generator you're talking about, but they didn't include enough information on the generator.
Chances are your product will be fine, but I would not use the device to create a higher PPM product... In fact, it is dissapointing that the lowest setting is 10 PPM. _________________ ~ Jason

Hi,
I thought that the only good kind was ionic silver and that the other would not work? Please tell me if I'm wrong or not. |

| How many ppm should I be using do you think with this machine? It is set to make 25ppm when I got it so that is what I've been doing, but I am also giving it to our 17 month old so kinda scarry too! |

Not sure if I am supposed to say anything here, but I guess I'll soon find out.
It's like this, my experience is that you can wade through every site available to you in the public domain and still be not too much the wiser, so I will give you a first hand personal perspective.
I have done endless hours of research on the subject, but at the end of the day all I have done really is weed out the hype, (what I consider hype anyway), from information that I consider worthwhile keeping.
I can't speak for 'shop bought' generators, so I can only speak for my own here, (please remember that as you read), and my experience is that there are so many variables which can, and will, effect the production process of CS that it has developed into a love/hate relationship with me. Someone said to me that it is more of an 'art' than a science and I now understand what he meant. Outside of a laboratory there is no science, only frustration [my opinion].
I can make a batch today, test the end result with a meter to get a ppm I have produced but tomorrow it will be a different reading. I venture to say that you would get the same result, [of course anyone can correct me there]. I can alter the speed of my magnetic stirrer and get ANOTHER end result, it can be cooler yesterday than today and I get, yet another, end result, (water temperature). There are reasons for all this but I won't go into that, my head has been done in enough over the time I have been making this stuff and I have come to the conclusion that if I can get it within a desired 'range' in ppm I am content.
The EICS I make is usually clear, like ordinary water, (there is yet another variable, as sometimes it will go 'yellow' after 24 hours or so, this can be explained as well but don't ask). You can test for ions by simply putting a tiny pinch of salt into the solution, you should see a white cloudy effect, this is the Ionic content, the best you will do for a particulate content, (in house), is to shine a strong and narrow torch beam through it, or a laser light of course if you have one. If a FAINT narrow beam of light is visible through the water, I consider that I have particles of a small enough size. So now I know that I have both ions and particles in my CS. HOWEVER, if my beam of light is BRIGHT then I assume those particles are larger and may not cross over into my bloodstream as easy and most of the silver particles will be expelled by the natural processes of the body.
So there is a couple of pointers that I use, but if anyone wants to add anything, or question my methods, hey, feel free and go for it. I've done my head in enough over this stuff so I just use my own judgement now. I try to make a clear product, (doesn't bother me if it goes yellow though), ingest 100ml every morning before breakfast, (when my mouth is driest, and swirl it under my tongue for 2 or 3 minutes at least before swallowing) and between 5-10ppm, using my meter to test it for ppm.
There are only 2 rules that are set in stone...(1)... ONLY USE PURE, OR DISTILLED WATER and (2)... NEVER ADD ANYTHING TO THAT WATER WHEN PRODUCING EICS!! |
