Eyton:
My family purchased some fifty pounds of bentonite clay maybe ten years ago. The clay has been stored in our garage, which is subject to the hot and cold temps. The clay is contained in an open paper bag, which is inside a garbage bag, which is inside a cardboard box. My brother and I have been using the clay to treat our acne for years now. I have several questions about the clay:
1)Is it still "fresh"? If it is likely that the clay has absorbed bad things from the garage over the years, could we place the clay on our Sante PX 2.5 Million Bovis Energy Mat to combat the toxins.
2)I would like to take the clay internally, so would you reccommend just buying more clay?
3)I bought a shoerhead filter on ebay. Is this sufficient for clay baths?
4)I am 21 years old and have been involved with detox for several years. I have done a Dr. Schulze colon cleanse, as well as a Lemonaid/Cayenne drink fast. I was forced to vaccinate for public school and college and have indulged in canned beer (but not for several years). I eat organicly, but do indulge in eggs, organic turkey, raw milk cheese, rice milk, granola, and occasionally yogurt and cookies. Would you reccommend any dietary shift to compliment my clay intake?
Sorry about all of the questions, but I am very interested in detox and would like to keep as clean inside as possible. Your help is greatly appreciated! |

Hello guys,
I am new in this site and i find every bits of information here very interesting. What really caught my attention is this thread.
I just want to ask if these 'healing clay' can really help you improve your system? Is this some kind of a medicine?
I would greatly appreciate it guys if you will answer my question.
Thanks! |

Hi everyone,
It looks like I missed this thread...
Any clay stored in a bag could be subject to the adsorption of who knows what. If it doesn't stink and still works externally, then fine, but I would never use such a clay internally... just purchase some new clay and store it in a sealed, non-reactive container in a climate controlled environment.
I don't see anything wrong with the diet presented, but be certain to include plenty of alkalizing, fresh, raw greens in your diet and try to stick to enzyme-rich whole foods.
A shower-head filter is about the best you do without installing a whole house R/O system.

|
|
Bentonite clay has been used for centuries by indigenous peoples to cure GI disturbances and to eliminate internal toxins.
The "clay" is actually an ash found only in certain deposits located around some volcano's. These deposits are harvested, cleaned, filtered, and bottled.
This stuff works by flowing through your intestinal tract and adsorbing toxins. The toxins it adsorbs are deposited into the colon for elimination.
I've also found that taken with enough water, it helps lubricate digested food matter and eases bowel movements.
Hope this helps! |
