Hello!
I've decided to do a colon cleanse with Bentonite+Psyllium-Shakes.
How many shakes per day would you suggest to take? And for how long should this be done?
Thanks for helping! |

Hi -
Start off slowly... Only do one shake a day for three days, and see how your body responds.
If your body responds well, you can do two shakes a day.
How long depends upon your goals and anything else you are doing for digestive health.
When bentonite has worked sufficiently in the colon, the feces will have no smell at all.
It can take six months for the digestive system to repair under the best of circumstances. Clay can be used on three days off four days; on four days off three days... etc... once you feel that daily use is not required.
Alot depends upon how well your digestive system currently functions; and your current nutrition. |

I did a colon cleanse with 2 shakes daily for 4 months. It took that long before I didn't see mucoid plaque or strange green color to my BM. I used 1 TBS clay and 1 TBS psylium for each shake but I made them separate. I used apple juice in the psylium so it helped wash everything down. It really does make a huge difference in odor after you are cleaned out.

Hi Guys,
I was wondering, if you take bentonite clay in conjunction with psyllium seed husks, would the bulk-forming action of the husk interfere with the adsorbing action of the clay, and vice versa? |

Greetings,
No, mainly because the psyllium is non-soluble in water. |
