My name is [ name removed ]. I have a very strange disease, which
is shared by thousands of people in this counry.
Please see The Morgellons
Filarial Research Organization and The National
Association for People with Unidentified Skin Parasites. In 1998 a doctor prescribed
Permethrin
for me over the phone because I said I had a rash and diarhea.
He decided that I had scabies even though he did not examine me.
The
use of Permethrin caused a cutaneous larval migration that resulted
in terrible skin lesions. I suffered with these for months. When
the doctor finally saw me he said he did not know what was wrong
but gave me Erythromycin and Ultravate skin cream, which
made things worse.
I finally saw a naturopathic doctor who gave me bentonite
clay to use as a paste on the lesions. This cleared them up.
Many, many people are suffering from this disease and are being told
that they are delusional by doctors who do not know what this is
or will
not say. I have a lot more info and would be glad to help your
research in any way that I can. Please look at the sites I mentioned.
I would
also like to know how much bentonite to use internally. This
disease
involves more than the skin.
Thank you.
[ More ]
There is very interesting reading here on this "hair" and "fiber" disease,
dating back hundreds of years. Blood tests on the little boy who
provided the specimens for many of these pictures will be in tomorrow.
I am going to send separately high mag images of what these fibers
look like. Preliminary testing indicates a highly unusual and primitive
fungus with "loose" DNA.
A blood smear from this child,
taken at night, contained what was identified as a strongyle-type
or onchocerca-type worm by a PhD in biology. When the CDC received
this, they said it did not look like a parasite to them. I am attaching
the story of what happened to my jackson chameleons after exposure
to my well water.
Although we now have a kinetico water system, my
pets and I still have many symptoms. I have not, however, had any
lesions since 1998. This disease affects cold and warm-blooded animals,
insects, birds and people. Some people think it may be related to
volcanic eruptions, such as Mt. St. Helens. Other people think it
the military doing testing.
I tend to think these organisms have
always been around and maybe they only bother us, unintentionally,
when they themselves get sick or when we are sick, from pollution,
etc. They are really incredible little creatures. How miraculous
to be able to pull a hair from your head and watch it dart its little
sense organ at your skin, as if testing for safety, or to see it
coil and stretch out, or swim in the water!
Of course, the many painful
external and internal symptoms are not nice. Some people have had
serious visual deterioration and pulmonary and heart trouble. Some
people with lesions on their faces will not go out or shop late at
night so others will not see them. It is heartbreaking.
When you
think about all these people suffering with these terrible symptoms
and being met by the medical profession with disinterest, hostility
or outright persecution, and being told that they are delusional,
it is incomprehensible. I went to one medical doctor who refused
to look at my lesions or examine me, even though I begged him in
tears, and then called mental health and told them I was mutilating
myself.
So I had a call from them asking me why I was "mutilating
myself." If something as inexpensive as bentonite could provide
a solution or alleviate symptoms, what a blessing this would be.
I will keep you posted.
Thank you for your very kind letter.

RE: Recent reported outbreaks
of Morgellons Disease in the Bay Area, California
My opinion is that these types of conditions are real. I don't believe
that there is a single cause, but rather, a group of conditions that
are not easily diagnosed that share many of the same symptoms ( hence
Morgellons Disease ). The first time I came in contact with such a
case, a whole family was infected,
including
their cat. This was somewhere around nine years ago.
The health department was called in to their house, but they could
not identify a parasite or any other type of organism. One would definately
have thought the entire family, including the cat, was insane.
However, I approached the situation with the assumption that there
was an infection of some sort. Yes, these people were VERY mentally
and emotionally disturbed. However, I figured that if I were experiencing
what they were, I would likely be disturbed as well. On top of that,
I'd never seen a psychotic cat before. The cat spent quite a bit of
time just running around in circles.
The individual
that had asked for my help complained about tiny "jumping threads" he
could never see. He'd been tortured with this predicament for several
years, describing a sensation of bugs crawling under his skin.
I had him leave the environment, and coat his entire body ( including
the hair/head ) with natural bentonite clay. In very short order (
an hour ) he experienced the first moments of relief from this condition
in years.
However, after a time, the sensations would return ( a day or more
). He would get temporary relief by repeating the clay coating on his
body... Once, he did the clay therapy daily for two weeks and experienced
complete relief during this time. However, it wasn't practical for
him to continue due to work, etc.
I hypothesized that it may have been a parasitic condition, with a
3 week ( or longer ) life cycle. IF a parasitic infection, based on
the complaints, I assumed it lived on the skin, or just beneath the
skin, possibly incubating in the ears or hair.
I traced his infection back to a neighbor he once had
who was an elderly woman originally from a remote tribe in Africa.
The individual and
his family had several unpleasant "neighborly" encounters
with this individual; shortly thereafter became infected; then moved
to a new area of town in hopes of finding relief.
On studying old remedies, I found that garlic was often used for parasites.
Since I believed the infection was a skin infection with external body
manifestations, I had the individual shower very well, apply clay over
the entire body ( thinly coated but covering the skin ), and then allow
the clay to dry. After the clay dried, the individual showered, and
I tossed him a necklace with a few fresh cloves of garlic ( peeled
).
Having doned his garlic necklace, he never experienced discomfort
again. I tried to get him to get rid of the garlic necklace ( of course,
he always used more fresh garlic after a few days ) after a few months.
However, he was terrified of a relapse, and did not want to be without
it.
I saw this individual late last year; he was perfectly fine, yet still
wearing the garlic necklace.
This was a very strange situation ( I still shake my head in amazement
when considering the memory ), but I was pleased that years of suffering
for this individual had been ended -- and permanently.
My experience with bentonite, montmorillonite and french
illite clays is extensive, especially considering skin conditions.
The only condition I have not seen a positive response to is conditions
caused by substances such as Agent Orange, although long term topical
treatment with clays made with fine quality colloidal waters may even
impact these so-called "jungle rot" conditions.

A Sufferer's Report on a Unique Alternative
Treatement for Morgellon's Disease
Please note that we have not tested this method,
this came from a report posted on a health email list
For any of you following the mystery, or who knows about
using alfalfa.... This was posted on a morgellons site today......................
I
have been Morgellons sufferer for over ten years.
Recently, I discovered, quite by accident, something that is literally
making it disappear from my BODY.
As I am sure fellow sufferers can relate to, over the years, I have
experimented with various "super baths," filling the tub
with hot water and puttibng in things like lemons, baking soda, dish
detergent, laundry detergent, alcohol, etc....well, one day about four
months ago, I was filling the bath and I was pretty dirty from housecleaning
so I put some Sun powdered laundry detergent with colorsafe bleach
into the water, just a tad, because it really cleans the skin so good,
and once I finish with the bath, I scrub it off with regular soap and
a scrubby thing that is regularly disinfected. anyway, I left the bathroom
for a minute or two and heard a crash that sounded like one of my cats
getting into something. When I returned to the bathroom, nothing seemed
amiss, so I got undressed and slid into the water for a soak.
Everything seemed normal until the bubbles parted, and I got the sight
of a morgellons sufferers' lifetime: those black and grey specks MIGRATING
OUT OF MY SKIN AS FAST AS THEY COULD IN DROVES BY THE HUNDREDS FROM
EVERY SQUARE INCH OF MY BODY!!!!!!!! And even as I saw that, I also
noticed several large oblong things "dissolving" in the bottom
of the tub. I picked one up, and it was an alfalfa tablet. Then I noticed
the bottle on the counter next to the tub was overturned, and about
25 of them had fallen into the water! They were the cause of the migration
of all things\ morgellon out of my skin in a fantastic migration for
about an hour! Brown flecks, black specks, fibers, white patches of
fibers drifted off the surface of my skin like No Problema, see ya
later, something I had NEVER BEEN ABLE TO ACCOMPLISH WITH ANY OTHER
TOPICAL AGENT.
THE MIGHTY ALFALFA HAS SINCE CONQUERED MORGELLONS IN MY BODY.
The scabs are gone, the fibers are history, the patches of fibers
are all taped to a piece of wax paper and about to be sent off to a
research lab that has requested them.
I am sending you my testimonial in hopes that other sufferers will
at least know some relief from the scourge of the skin.
Dandelion the Flame Point Siamese must be credited with this miraculous
discovery. He is only three years old, but he's a hero to his long-suffering
Mommy!
I've done a little research on the mighty alfalfa, and apparently
it creates an alkaline environment in the body in which things like
CANCER and other diseases cannot survive. So, taking it internally
can only be a good thing, also; but it's the BATHS that made all the
difference in the world for me.
I also tried putting St. Johns Wort in the bath along with it, with
even better results. And for some reason, using the Sun powdered laundry
detergent with colorsafe bleach also helps facilitate the
migration of the specks.
God, I really hope this helps even one person as it has helped me.
It has cleared up my symptoms so completely that I kept forgetting
to post this information on the morgellons websites!!!!

Hey guys, I think I may have something going.
I, too, have the drive-you-up-the-wall creepy crawlie disease. I tried everything, including bentonite btw, and nothing helped the incessant skin crawl. I even tried gasoline, if you can believe it. Incidentally, with the gasoline on me, it was almost more than I could do to resist setting myself on fire. I was going crazy.
Then I found something that works, something that stops the skin crawl and itching.
Believe it or not, VICKS VAPORUB. Just rub it on. It stops everything for twenty four hours, at least, and it has done so for the past five days. I rub it on very early every morning and it lasts until the following morning.
Too, the skin crawl is considerably less severe when it comes back due to the vicks wearing off. I'm hoping that things continue to improve with time and using vicks vapoRub. Good luck.

Hi Mia,
Bentonite is a clay product that is used in the oil field to seal the walls of oil wells while they're being drilled, and to ficilitate drilling by making the carrier fluid viscus in order to help carry the heavy drillings to the surfice where it percipitates out of solution in large holding pools. When bentonite comes in contact with water, it becomes a water-tight jell. By the way, bentonite is a registered trade mark.
At any rate, I ordered several tons of bentonite to seal a farm pond. While I was getting wet and muddy anyway, I dabbed gobbs of the slimy stuff on the morgies. As far as I could tell, it had no effect at all. Sorry if I busted anyone's bubble but don't let me discourage anyone from trying it.
Perhaps I should also say, when I used it (bentonite) I didn't know it was being used to treat morgies. Maybe I used it all wrong.
Let me also say, while I'm here, vicks vaporub is still holding the miseries at bay, but it hasn't cured any part of it. The effect is temporary, twenty four hours at best.

About the "unique alternative treatment" for morgies. Since alfalfa tabs float, how is it possible they were seen "disolving in the bottom of the tub?" I'm curious.

"unique alternative treatment" I just did this bath....
My alfalfa tabs sunk to the bottom and then dissipated through out the water, I am not sure what the results are yet. I am a little worried about having used the colorsafe bleach especially since I put my head under the water. I will come by and give you an update as soon as I know something.

Okay, guys (and gals) maby I've found something else to help with morgies. Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil, lol.
You might imagine how miserable I am to try something like motor oil, but I'm trying everything, well, almost everything anyway.
The Mobil 1 Motor I've been trying (one week now) is 15 w 50 "extended performance." It seems to be working. The morgies have been quieted since the first application almost one week ago. I'm thrilled, but almost afraid to hope.
I'll keep you posted.

Okay guys, It's just about official. Mobil 1 "Fully Synthetic" motor oil cures the morgies. I been using 15 W 50 multi-weight Mobil 1 for nine days, and the morgies have stopped crawling, itching, stinging, and driving me mad.
There's just the slightest hint (in one small spot on the back of my neck) that some of it might be still active, but it's so slight that I can't be sure. I'm still, however, smearing on the oil on it just in case.
I use the motor oil sparingly, i.e., not enough to stain my clothes, and I rub it in thoroughly. There seems to be no side-effects.

These things were starting to get worse and worse and I tried everything trying to get rid of them...I tried tea tree oil which they really don't like, but it cannot be taken internally so that was a problem However,...I've found that garlic really is the answer... its great because it can be used internally and externally.... You will want tablets (Garlinase Fresh / Enzymatic brand)... Take 2 a day.... Get herbal garlic tincture/oil...put drops in your ear because they do nest and reproduce in the ears. Cut slices of raw garlic and place inside your socks (thin slices) because these things are in the feet too. Garlic is the greatest parasitecide and actually healthy for you (lowers cholesterol and blood pressure). At the same time take ParaGone 1 & 2 tablets (Renew Life brand).... Spray your environment with tea tree oil & thymol or thyme essential oil to kill them in the carpets and wash your laundry with it and also the Sun colorsafe Bleach detergent to kill those off your body...but if you keep taking the garlic for a long period of time...those that jump on your body, etc. should die-off anyway. The garlic is the perfect remedy because it is safe, healthy and kills the little bastards cold.... good luck, spread the word

I am in New Zealand and my daughter is suffering from something that may or may not be morgies. When she has a hot shower she put oil all over her body and strange things start to exude from her skin. They range from little tufts of fluff to little "mites", some of which are very small, greyish in colour, larger ones which are blue and quite big ones which are red. The red ones may be bigger because they appear to have been sucking her blood, which would also explain the red colour. She is becoming quite depressed and paranoid. She doesn't think there is anyone in New Zealand who will believe her, or take her seriously. I have collected samples of these things off her body, but so far she hasn't sent them to anyone for identifacation. Are these things anything like what you people experience?
Dewd
08 May 2007, 23:38
Marg, definitely sounds like Mogellons. Please try Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil and thin it with lighter fluid. It works. It kills the morgies.
Use the oil and lighter fluid sparingly, i.e., not enough to stain clothing. Use it everyday for at least two weeks.
Marg
09 May 2007, 01:51
Thanks for your response Dewd. Does this actually kill these things or just stop them coming out? Have you any tips for de-contaminating clothes and buildings? I am going to try to find someone here who is prepared to look at these things and admit that they are real. Yesterday my daughter was really really depressed and scared for her life. I haven't seen her today, it's 5.30pm and shes not home but I think she has borer-bombed her house so it will be interesting to see if that has killed any of them that crawl around her house. Once again thanks for your reply, that gives us hope

Marge, the people running this web site refuse to let me post very much. Understandably, they prolly don't want competition against their "healing Clay." However, don't worry about decontamination. Tha takes care of itself. Mobil 1 synthetaic motor oil stops the morgies dead. Don't forget to thin it with lighter fluid.

Marge, this web site stops my posting with a "suspected spam" notice. However, use 5 w 50 weight, or as close to it as you can find, and thin it further with cigarette lighter fluid.
I've been completely free of morgies since february, and I stopped using the oil medication after two weeks.

Hi guys, I feel good about being able to help. I know what you're going through, but have no fear. Mobil 1 is here lol.
Rx. Mix three parts Mobil 1 to one part lighter fuel, it isn't critical. Thoroughly cover the infected area, but not heavily enough to stain clothing. The amount you use doesn't seem critical, but do rub it in thoroughly. I used it twice daily, night and morning.
Relief starts immediately and becomes more noticeable day by day. The Morgies will be gone by the end of the first week, but don't stop medication until the end of the second week, maybe longer depending on the severity of the infection. My case was severe, heavy rash and lesions.
Good luck. Keep me posted on your progress. I hope it works as well for you as it did for me.

PS again lol. I keep thinking of things I should've said. Notice, I said Mobil 1 motor oil. I meant to say MOBILE 1 FULLY SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL, 5 W 50 WEIGHT if you can find it. If you can't find 5 W 50, use whatever weight is available and use more lighter fuel to thin IT.

Dewd, What about bathing ? At any time during the 2 weeks or what? Did you put it on your head, face or hair ? Also originaly you said you were using 15w50 now you say to get 5w50 typo ? And please let me thank you for your help. Man I hope this will work for me.

Hi Dave.
Yes, typo. Sorry. 15 W 50. Actually, the typo was in my mind. I don't know how I got locked on 5 W 50 lol. I used 15 W 50.
Apply to hair (saclp if you're bald) face and/or head. Synthetic motor oil is made of huge hypoallergenic molecules and will not harm the face, body, skin or hair in any way. Lighter fuel evaporates long before it can do harm
Bath as usual but apply oil after bathing. In other words, the oil must be present 24-7-14.

I am so happy I found this site!!!! I have been suffering for over a year now. Little black and brown specks, flourescent blue, green, red and white things coming out of my skin. Constant itchiness all over my body, my nose, eyes and ears seem to be affecting me the worse. Inside my ears are white things that look like dandruff that crawls and my hearing has deteriorated. The corners of my eyes will be a gooey substance that has a stringy appearance with white or blue tiny eggs in it. My skin has been peeling off lately, after a shower when I am drying off the whole top layer off my skin is literally peeling off and the shedded skin is green. I have to take another shower to get the skin off my body. When the shedded skin is dry I can see black, blue and darker green specks all in it . It looks sometimes like some kind of nymph the way it's shaped. I am anxious to try the motor oil and garlic. I already have tried so many things with no relief and the Doctors don't give a damn they just think I'm delusional. I will let everyone know how it works on me. Thankyou for your help!

I have just purchased the 999 cream from Dr.StressDoc.com. you need to find a sympathetic dermatologist and Doctor to get you thru this and educate yourself Think Positive and good things will come.

I'm just about to try the alfalfa thing - first without the bleach. I tried the motor oil last friday, just over night to check any bad reaction...the only problem was that I didnt mix it with the lighter fluid because I was concerned about being highly flamable!! Although reading the ingredients of the fluid, its the same as my hairspray! My hair (long and blonde) was not damaged but it took 4 or 5 washes to get the oil out. My problem is that the hair with oil in is so greasy and a bit smelly so cant really go out and about like it!! I did find a pending international patent for using pure mineral oil as an antimicrobiological agent on skin...similar to the use of this high quality motor oil I guess...so this is hopeful stuff!

09 Jun 2007, 12:57
I'm still experimenting with the Alfalfa - disolving tablets in a small amount of water and using like a mud pack. I think there's some benefit of using it day by day. I've experienced some hair loss, continual white specks from hair and black specks and fibres from hair and skin (fibres maybe bacterial, which some antibiotics may assist with). I've analysed some insects that came off my body under a microscope and I'm pretty damn sure one species (I'm found several) is a form of Collembola (also known as 'snow flea' or 'Springtail'). Apparently some people have been cured from Collembola using a drug called ivermectin. My doctor is checking out whether its safe for me to try. Using the train everyday has greatly aggrivated the problem, which a fellow sufferer thinks it due to the electro-magnetics from the track. This would explain why I found quite a few white specks around my computer - especially under the keyboard. For me, I don't think the motor oil tackles the insects...but I'm still experimenting. Like Diane, I too see heaps of fibres and specks in the air and witness people coughing, itching and sneezing around me...especially itching their ears and rubbing eyes also. I've heard people call these nano parasites - I know they're small and live sub cutaneously at the end of my hair follicles. I reckon identifying the condition is key to treating it. I also think that a positive mental attitude is important. We are still alive after all...

25 Jun 2007, 21:25
Dave, I'm sorry I didn't respond your most recent e-mail concerning morgies. I stopped getting notification of postings, and I assumed that all activity had stopped. Please accept my apologies.
Also, I noticed your posting that the Mobil oil doesn't work, and that I "must have had simple scabies or something."
Dave, large areas of my body was covered with lesions and open sores. Also, with a magnifying glass, I could see colored fibers and tiny black specks by the hundreds. I'm pretty certain that my pathology was classic Morgellons disease.
What troubles me about your finding that the motor oil doesn't work is that my recovery was so quick and thorough. Something seems all wrong. I'll not question your integrity, or suggest that you may have ulterior motives for finding contrary to my experience, but something has got to be wrong here. Are you sure you used Mobil 1 SYNTHETIC motor oil, 15W50 weight, and thinned it with lighter fluid?
Dewd
25 Jun 2007, 21:58
Dearest Morgellons disease sufferers, Dave, Chick, Jason, Angela, Patrica, Kim, Jo, Clazy and anyone else I may have missed, I find it difficult to believe that MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL worked so well for me, yet did not work for Dave. Something seems terribly wrong here.
I am certain that my skin pathology was Morgellons. I found pictures of the multicolored Morgellons fibers on the Internet, and they were exactly like the ones I could see interlaced in my skin.
Please do not be discouraged to the point that you will not try MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL, 15W50 WEIGHT, THINNED WITH CIGARETTE LIGHTER FUEL.
I stress here, THOROUGHLY MIX (in plastic soda-pop bottle) MOBIL 1 SYNTHETIC MOTOR OIL, 15W50 MULTI-WEIGHT, WITH CIGARETTE LIGHTER FUEL.
The degree to which the oil is thinned seems unimportant, but be warned, the more lighter fuel used, the more it burns as the lighter fuel evaporates. The burning is not severe, at least it wasn't to me, but I suggest no more than a fifty-fifty mix.
Use this preparation twice daily, morning and night, for at least two weeks.
Incidentally, I am completely free of the morgies since february,
Jason

27 Jun 2007, 14:01
Jason, I'm sure you're right about Dave. I was troubled by the fact that the synthetic motor oil and cigarette lighter fuel concoction worked so well for me, but didn't work for him. Other than that, I have no horse in the race. However, I feel great sympathy for anyone suffering Morgellons. It's a terrible disease, which the medical profession isn't taking it seriously, and there's no letup from the terrible itching and stinging night and day.
I had a severe case of it, open sores that wouldn't heal, incessant itching and stinging that damn near drove me crazy. I went to dozens of doctors, non of whom helped but never failed to charge exorbitant office fees. I spent hundreds of dollars on office calls and prescription medicine.
Beside the fact that my face and body was covered with sores, my health was failing because I couldn't sleep. I damn near lost my job, my home, my wife and family, and I seriously considered suicide.
I tried everything I could think of, gasoline, lamp oil, solvent, household ammonia, baking soda, vinegar, whiskey, antibiotic creams, fungus scraped from tree trunks mixed with Vaseline and Vicks vapo-rub, which, incidentally, did help for a while. I tried iron rust, axle grease, Blackleaf Forty insecticide, potassium permanganate, sodium phosphate, potassium nitrate, ammonium nitrate, Mary war lye, oil of cloves, honey, bee stings, tobacco juice, Lamisil and many other otc preparations and prescription medicines too numerous to mention.
Anyway, you might imagine my pleasant surprise when I tried Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil, which helped immediately, but it didn't stop the morgies completely until I thinned it considerably with cigarette lighter fuel.
From the very first application of Mobil 1 synthetic motor oil mixed with cigarette lighter fuel, the itching and burning stopped, and I slept for sixteen hours straight. When I woke up, I laughed so hard my that wife thought I had lost my freakin' mind. I showered and shaved and took my wife out to dinner. It was over. The sores on my body healed in a matter of days and it was finally over.
I've done nothing except use the oil medicine, night and morning, for two weeks. I.e., I didn't try to disinfect anything or take precaution against re-infection. I've been completely free of morgies since February. Except for a few tiny scars, there's not so much as a hint of it now.

I'm trying the motor oil to treat the threads. I don't have any sores or legions, but definiately have skin parasites which my doctor hopefully will refer me to a dermatologist for. I don't think the oil is able to treat them, bonus if it does!!.
It is easier to use than I thought though - it doesnt smell and washes out of my long hair just by using soap x 2 and then conditioner. I haven't had any burning sensations using it either. Will report back at start of July. I reckon jacqui parker should definitely try it as her symptoms sound like yours Drewd.

Please help, has anyone else experienced little critters coming out of their nose, this is no joke. If so, is there anyway to get rid of them and how do I get this stuff out of my car and home? Tryed the motor oil thing last night but if it is supposed to work quickly, it has done absolutely nothing for me yet. Also, it is gobbling up my teeth. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Also, has this afflicted everyone living in these homes where there are sufferers? thanks

Joan, I'm not sure why they cant be detected. I know that a study of 20 patients diagnosed with delusional parasites had scraps from their skin taken, which showed nothing until they used digitally zoomed magification - 18 out of 20 people studied had collembolla parasites. I think mine are sub-cutaneous (just under the skin), but probably in my bowel too, but not sure. I've found them floating in the bath and in hot drinks, being 1mm in length, if that. Using a 100x microscope I've got a positive id for collembolla. Apparently household ammonia solution kills them in the home/laundry and using Bounce in the tumble dryer helps eliminate the fluff. I've only just starting experimenting so cant say how effective. I do know that the alfalfa and colour safe bleach does little for me. I thought that it was fluff coming from my nose...will examine more closely!! Did you experience tooth decay from using the oil??? sorry for the essay :o(

Hi Ligia,
Gee whiz, lol. I'm totally lacking of any informed advice that might be helpful to you concerning the opening of old skin injuries by using the synthetic motor oil and cigarette lighter fuel. The open sores and lesions on my face and body were part of the visible pathology associated with Morgellons (colored fibers) disease. I've never used it for any other purpose.
While I doubt that the oil/naphtha mixture would harm you in any way, I wouldn't advise using it except under a doctor's care. If, however, you sense that the old wounds are getting better using the oil, you might consider continuing it's use for a while to see what happens. If nothing else, the synthetic oil might help protect delicate tissue in the healing process. Incidentally, I know what you mean about the delicate pink color that comes when open sores begin healing. I still have a tiny bit of it on my face but its fading rapidly.
Ligia, I should inform you that I'm not trained in the medical profession, but trained professionals were unable to help me in my desperate search to find relief from the hellish Morgellons disease. As a rule I never give medical advice but, in this case, I wanted to help those who were suffering as I was. Morgellons is a hellish affliction. I hope you and others benefit from my experience.

Joan - found an insect from my nose yesterday - it looked like a bit of white fluff until I looked under the microscope and discovered that it was a tiny, immature insect. I'm talking to doc on Thursday about what to do next...I didn't surprise me as its a skin infection and humans have skin internally as well as out. I'm hoping to try the drug ivermectin if its safe..don't know yet.

HI THIS STARTED AS WHAT FELT LIKE A SMALL BITE ON MY TOE. AFTER A FEW DAYS, I REALIZED THERE WAS A SMALL GRAIN EMBEDDED IN THE SPOT. I TOOK MY TWEEZERS AND TRIED TO TAKE IT OUT. IT SEEMED TO BE FIGHTING ME. THE TINY SPOT TURNED INTO A CRATER LIKE SORE AND HAS NOT HEALED AFTER TWO WEEKS. THEN I STARTED TO FEEL THIS ITCHING AT NIGHT. BEING A BIT OF A HYPOCHRONDRIAT, I DOUBTED WHAT I WAS FEELING. THEN ON MY ANKLE ON THE SAME FOOT AS THE FIRST SORE, I GOT THE SAME SENSATION. THINKING MAYBE IT WAS SOME KIND OF MITE, AGAIN I GOT THE TWEEZERS AND REMOVED A PARASITE OF SOME FORM, THIS TIME WHEN IT SCABBED OVER I PEELED THE WHOLE SCAB, AND SAW WHAT LOOKED LIKE TINY BLACK THREADS IN THE SCAB, YUK! I NOTICED WHAT LOOKED LIKE SPLINTERS EMBEDDED UNDER THE SURFACE OF MY SKIN, SO I TOOK MY TWEEKERS AND FORCED IT UP THEN GRABBED THE THING AND YANKED IT OUT, BREAKING THE SKIN, IT FELT GONE, THEN SARTED TO HEAL FROM SWIMMING IN THE OCEAN TWO DAYS. WELL..LAST NIGHT I NOTICED THE SPOTS HAD THIS PEPPER LIKE GRAIN SURROUNDED BY A WHTE SKIN LIKE POD JUST IN THOSE SPOTS AGAIN, AGAIN I YANKED THEM OFF WITH THE TWEEZERS. NOW THEY'RE OPEN CRATER LIKE SORES. SO WHAT I HAVE OBSERVED ARE SMALL WHITEHEAD LIKE ITCHY BUMPS THAT SEEM TO MOVE IN AND OUT OF MY SKIN, AS WELL AS FIBER LIKE THINGS I DESCRIBED ABOVE, ALSO THOSE LITTLE PEPPER EMBEDDED SPOTS THAT SEEM LIKE THE START OF THE WHOLE CYCLE. dESPERATE NOW, I JUST TRIED DEWD'S OIL SOLUTION AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT THE ITCHING SEEMS BETTER, BUT WE'LL HAVE TO SEE. aLSO THERE SEEM TO BE TO SPOTS THAT APPEAR TO BE 2 SIDE BY SIDE LITTLE SPOTS. tHIS IS OVERWHELMING TO SAY THE LEAST, AND SCARY WHEN YOU START READING THE DISBELIEF OVER THE SIMILAR SYMPTOMS DOCUMENTED BY OTHERS. MY LESIONS FORM THIS PROTECTIVE SORT OF HARD GEL LIKE COATING AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE ALL THESE LITTLE BLACK SPECS IN THE WHITE POD INSIDE THE WOUND, SO SCARY. I HOPE THIS IS THE START AND I CAN STOP IT.
AND I TEND TO BE A PICKER, I KEPT DOUBTING MYSELF. THEN I REALIZED I WOULD NOT HAVE PICKED TO THE POINT THAT THESE LESIONS HAVE GOT TO. EVEN IF I DO PICK, THE END RESULT WAS NEVER THESE OPEN TYPE LESIONS. IN THIS DAY AND AGE YOU GOTTA WONDER.
DEWD IF YOU ARE OUT THERE, I'D LOVE TO HEAR BACK, DID IT AFFECT THE REST OF YOUR FAMILY? I'LL GO TO A GOOD SKIN CLINIC ON MONDAY AS I WOULDN'T CHANCE AN EMERGENCY ROOM ON THE WEEKEND FOR FEAR THEY'LL THINK I'M CRAZY. iN THE MEANTIME CAN YOUR PEEPS IN CLOSE CONTACT CATCH IT? i'M AFRAID FOR MY KIDS AND GRANDKIDS. i'D LOVE TO HEAR BACK ASAP. I GUESS MISERY SEEKS COMPANY!
THANKS A MILLION TO ANYONE WHO RESPONDS AND SHARES THEIR EXPERIENCE. OH AND YOU CAN SEE THEM WITH A GOOD MAGNIFYING GLASS.

Hi Isabella; Sorry I was so slow getting back to you. I was away from my computer.
My Morgellon symptoms started with raised whelps and blotches on my face, reminiscent of an allergic reaction that itched like crazy. I used an over-the-counter corticosteroid (hydrocortisone) for the itching, which only made it worse, and everything went down hill from there.
Within a day or so, the whelps became blisters, which then bust and quickly dried up. I thought it had run its course and was over but, boy howdy, I couldn't have been more wrong. The pink skin under the broken blisters began to crack and bleed, new blotches spread all over my body, and all hell broke loose. I didn't have a single moments relief from the painfully sores and hellish itching until February of this year.
Strangely, nobody noticed the colored threads until I stumbled onto a web site about Morgellons. When I told my doctors about Morgellons, they immediately tried to convince me that there was no such disease. They obviously knew about it already, but were in denial. Doctors were seeing something that nobody wanted to admit. It seemed that the body's DNA was being altered to copy environmental lint.
Anyway, to answer you question about Morgellons being contagious. It doesn't seem to be.
Now, for your scary sounding disease. Have you tried soaking your foot in baking soda water, so hot that you can barely stand it? You might do this every few hours for a day or two. If it is a life form, the strongly basic bicarbonate of soda and extremely hot water might kill it.

Ligia, after rereading your posting, I noticed something that may be important. If the oil is "getting all over you," it isn't thin enough and you are applying too much. It should be almost dry within a few minutes after putting it on.
Thin the oil fifty-fifty with cigarette lighter fuel. By the way, don't wash it off. Leave it on 24/7.

Hi Dewd,
thanks for responding. it is not just on my feet. they look like little black splinters with one end sticking out. when i try to pull them out with tweezers it is so difficult, they retreat back inside the skin. once inside they embed under the skin and look like a long splinter, but some form long thin tentacles from them that you can see. i am using the oil mixture and the itching has gone away and like you i finally slept for hours.
i have a terrible headache though, which is new. where you getting headaches at all?

Hi Joan,
I noticed some relief from the itching even before I learned to thin the oil with Lighter fuel. The big improvement, though, came immediately after I thinned the oil. The improvement was immediate and noticable.
I believe I was cured after one week on the thinned oil. My sores were healing rapidly and the itching was completely gone, but I continued using the oil for another week just to be safe.
We never concerned ourselves with getting rid of the morgies in our house or car. It took care of itself and no one except me ever got the disease.

Joan, your problem seems very different to mine. There were no visible fibers in my home or car. The only fibers I had were growing from my body tissue, and only beneath black scabs that were being held on by the fibers.
The oil apparently killed the colored fibers, and a resulting festering caused the fibers to release from my tissue and come out as the scabs fell away.
As I said in previous postings, we did nothing to rid our home or car of fibers because there were no fibers to get rid of.
If you have visible fibers in your home, your problem is very different from mine.

Joan, at the risk of coming across as a know-it-all, it's possible to kill everything in your home by burning flowers of sulfur. Place a rounded tablespoon of flowers of sulfur in a jar lid, (metal of course) set it on a brick or rock, light it and quickly get the out of the house for two hours.
Before going back into your house, thoroughly air it out by opening doors and windows for an hour at least.
If you do this (fumigate by burning flowers of sulfur inside your house) be certain that nothing is left inside while the sulfur is burning because it will die. Also, you'll want to use an air freshener for a time afterward.
If you are desperate to get rid of springtails in your house, this will do it but be careful. Burning flowers of sulfur in a closed area will kill any air-breathing thing.

guys, I am new to this page but wanted to share some info on things that have worked for me. I have had this disease since december of 2006. I absolutely am infected with springtails(collembola). body was covered in lesions and had parasites come out of my ears/nose/mouth and eyes. Bad lesions on my scalp ARE springtails. Many fibers and white dust around. My lesions are almost all healed now and I have little skin itching anymore. Mostly my problems now are these very strange hair parasites that seem to have taken over my hair follicles. things I have used that have helped me a lot:
bathe in epsom salts with lavendar, tea tree oil. oil of oregano (only 5-6 drops in bath as it is very strong) 1 small bottle of peroxide, and 2 oz of enzyme products (I like pepperment cleaner from safe2use) sometimes I also add 1/2 cup borax as it helps with the fungus aspect of the lesions. I soak for an hour or 2 if it is really bad.
Keep a magnafying glass and tweezers by the tub as you can remove the skin parasites by peeling them off after you have soaked. Once you find the direction they are growing you can peel them off in layers...once you remove the last one there will be NO scars.....I was covered with them and now only have 2-3 active lesions on my scalp. After bathing when I was really bad I would finsh with a shower to rinse off any "dislodged" parasites as I found they would reattach and start new lesions if I did not.
I have lost over half my hair and the biggest problem for me now is the :"living hair" parasite. I have done ivermecton and did see some migration of these things from my skin when I did....but it did not eradicate them. I also take garlic, oil of orgegano capsules, did a parasite/colon cleanse (Dr Natura Colinix product is great) I spray my bedding, car and furniture with enzyme mix daily and see almost no dust or fiber bugs any more. If they are heavy in your laundry use bounce dryer sheets in both the washer and dryer. the dryer sheets in the wash catch a lot of the lint balls which i then put in a sealed baggie and throw away) I double washed all infected laundry in enzyme cleaner, borax or ammonia and added the dryer sheets. I soak them overnight in hot water and double rinse.
Some towels still show the darn moving fibers even after that and those I threw away. Seems to have worked as my environment is much cleaner and I rarely see them in my laundry anymore....although I am so paranoid I still look. I also take colloidal silver (550 ppm that I get from herbal healer website). I put the colloidal on all lesions and take it internally. 1 tsp 3 times daily in water. I used an ultimate zapper and saw a huge parasite relase after using it for 4 days. Probalby passed 1000 1/2 inch red parasites all of which appeared to have fibers attached. Saw much improvement after that. No more itching or brain fog or achy joints or uncontrolled muscle movement....stopped seeing any m"mature" fibers....now I just see short little pieces of fiber when I dry off after my bath. I always look at the paper towel with a magnafying glass to see what is coming out of my skin after bathing.
Biggest problem now is these hair parasites. For my ears and nose I used a nasal sprayer with grapefruit seed extract (got it from herbal healer and then put colloidal silver drops in my ears, nose, eyes and swished in my mouth several times a day. Do not use the grapefruit seed extract in your eyes as it will burn but can be used everywhere else. My teeth have deteriorated but the parasite activity in these areas is greatly diminished. Hope this helps....I am much better and hopeful that soon I will get rid of the hair parasites and this nightmare will finally be over. My husband had a couple of lesions try to start on his scalp but that has stopped since I began using paper towels and treating the laundry. I also dry ALL laundry on high heat for at least an hour and if possible I microwave laundry I think was infected for 30-45 seconds. Of course you cannot do this if there is metal on the clothing. I treat his lesions as soon as they show up with colloidal silver and so far he has had no problems.
Hope this info is useful for those of you who tried the motor oil and it did not work for you. I have used some other products that were helpful and will be happy to share more if you have any questions.
I finally feel like I am getting my life back ....there is hope no matter what the doctors say and YOU ARE NOT CRAZY!
Love and light to you all!
Charley

JoAnn, . I have used three different enzyme treatments and all helped but my favorite is the pepperment enzyme cleaner from safe2use. I use it for everything and it smells good. these things hate pepperment and menthol. You can use it for your laundry, to spray your bedding, furniture, car, clean the items in your home ect. I mix it with miracle II soap (love these products...no chemicals and very good for your skin and environment) to make a treatment soap and shampoo for my body. I spray my bedding and car daily and have noticed much less fibers and activity. It also helps alot to segregate your laundry , I put mine in closed plastic containers before I wash and separate containers after I launder...I will continue to do this until I see no more. Putting the bounce fabric softeners in your shoes and drawers and around also helps....really helps to get them out of the wash, if I think clothes are infected I put 2-3 of them in the wash when I soak the loads...also shake out your clothes before putting them in the dryer. I also used the dryer sheets dipped in DE in the dryer when cleaning infected clothes. I keep swifter dusters in the laundry room and pick up the fuzz balls (cocoons) when I shake them from the laundry....I then put them in sealed baggies which I throw away. Do not use towels you share with others....best for you to use paper towels and dry with a hair dryer. Also helps after taking a soak bath to not remove the treatment from your skin....dry with a hair dryer and it will continue to treat your skin. I always bathe at night before I go to bed so I can feel ok about snuggling with my husband. Another thing you can do that really helps it get diatamaceous earth (bought mine at Lowes for like $7. Sprinkle this all over your car, around your computer, in your carpet, on any upholstered surface. . I sometimes put it in my bath, dip my dryer sheets and put it in the dryer to kill anything that might be in there....it is completely non toxic pest control I bought the food grade DE from Safe2use and take 1 tablespoon am/pm mixed in juice to kill them internally. Completely safe...it is used as a food preservative for grain storage.
I was infected with springtails staying at my inlaws in upstate New York. They live in an 18 month old home that was horribly infested with them. My 82 yr old father in law has them too. I had my husband cover the mattresses with plastic covers after sprinkling the de on then covered withanother coat of DE under the regular mattress pad. Also did the same for our pillows. Bed has been completely clean. I wash sheets once a week unless I have and extremely "active" ie hatching lesions. I also found that salt scrubs work wonders when you are having the little white egg pods show up in your skin. I get one from target that has chamomile in it. Helps heal and soothe the skin. Really puts a damper on the activity as these things hate salt. It does sting on open lesions but it stops quickly and works so well at keeping them from spreading it is worth it. I am currently using the salt and vitamin C protocol to see if that will finally get rid of them. Hope this helps....I am happy to share anything I know. For the record, I have used the clay as a coating for the lesions and it does help in my opinion....helps to draw the toxins from your body. Ginger baths also work wonders in pulling the toxins and reducing the inflamation which reduces the pain.
Just know that it is not easy but it can be done...the quicker you catch the problem the easier it is to control. Also helps A LOT to wear as many synthetic clothes as possible...stay away from cotton when ever possible and DO NO Use Q tips. I know this sounds crazy but many ot them are infected with a cotton parasite. I found this out the hard way and am now infected with a micro filarial worm, on top of everything else. Use a butb syringe (like you use for a baby) to clean out your ears and nose. works much better and is much safer.

JoAnn/Jason, I do believe these things are very contagous at certain stages....expecially when you are actively "shedding" parasites. Salt scrubs really help to minimize the risk of sharing as they thoroughly cleanse your skin and remove the eggs
Wash your laundry separate to keep from contaminating your family's clothes and linens....if you already have then you will have to treat all of the laundry to avoid spreading.
Colloidal silver is a god send and has worked well for me, my inlaws and my husband. Put it directly on the lesions after bathing, take it internally, wash your eyes out with it, your eye lashes and brows can get infected. This is a multi tiered infection. You don't just have springtails, look at rense.com and look up dr Hilda Staninger's interviews for a much more detailed explanation. Scary stuff for sure! Colloidal silver helps keep infection at a minimun. I put drops 2-3 times a day in eyes, ears, nose, mouth. Stops the itching almost instantly and kills the little devils.
mix with water and drink thruout the day. Be sure to swish around your mouth and pay special attention to the base of your teeth. I had the darn things imbedded in my tongue, the roof of my mouth and the base of my teeth before I realized they were in my mouth. The colloidal and GSE stopped them in their tracks. Put it directly on any lesions you see forming and they will be stopped in their tracks. The colloidal you buy at the health food stores is very weak. I stongly suggest you get it online...should be at least 550 ppm or stonger. Expensive but worth every penny. I buy it by the 32 oz bottle for $150 from Herbalhealer.com...lasts me about 2 months, My husband and I both use it.Now I only see them once in a while in my nose or ears...and usually only one....used to take them out 10-15 at a time so I know this has helped a lot! I also use the Grapefruit Seed Extract spray in my nose and ears and this helps a lot too. also get that at Herbal Healer. I have studied nutrition for 28 years and these things have a long history of helping with parasites, virus's, bacteria and fungus....all of which are present in this illness so you will be treating many things at once when you use this.
Best of luck...you can beat this!
Love and Light!

Joann/Jason, Yes I do think it can be contagious at certain stages. That said,, my husband has not caught it and I have been sick since December 06. I am very carefull to try to prevent the spread. It is imperative to keep a bottle of enzyme spray with you (I have them in both our cars, at my desk, by my bed. I spray my office chair, the couches ect. I always spray my skin with enzymes when I am going out. I always did a salt scrub shower before I went around other people when I was in an acute phase, then I sprayed my skin with an enzyme mix and let it dry. I keep menthol crystals in my car (wrapped little bunches in dryer sheets and placed them around the car after steam cleaning and I spray everything, car, myself, furniture, bedding with enzyme sprays. My computer was a hotbead until I started doing this. You can also reinfect yourself so it is key to treat your environment. Use swifter dusters everywhere to capture and remove the fibers and eggs and then bag them in plastic baggies and throw them away. Remove any rugs ect....that you can while you are healing. These things nest in cotton and natural fiber products. The more agressively you treat your environment, the quicker you will control it.
For my eyes, I found the most relief with chamomile tea bags used as poultices to reduce the itching and swelling and treating them with colloidal silver drops a couple of times a day. Keep the silver drops in your eyes, ears, nose and sip and swish colloidal in water all thruout the day. Be careful about cleaning the bases of your teeth. I had them imbed in my mouth and the base of my teeth before I even knew they were there. There is an enzyme mouthwash I called Biotene that has helped me a lot to control this in my mouth. Bought it at target and walmart. Miracle II soap products have also been very useful for me.....My skin showed dramatic improvement when I started using these chemical free soaps. Very unique products because you can also take them internally. They help a lot to control the fungus ( My nail on my left thumb was eaten away and the one on my right hand is halfway gone. Saw dramatic improvement after starting on these products. months on diflucan did nothing to stop it. Be vigilant about cleaning under your finger and toe nails....I had springtails and fungus in my nails before I even realized it.
I am still trying to eradicate the cotton parasite worms. I think they are related to the ones in my hair follicles. I have used ivermectin and saw some relief in general but I still have the fiber worms. I use the colloidal drops and Grapefruit Seed Extract Sprays in my ears and nose and occasionally would rinse them out gently with a baby bulb syringe that you can buy at walmart or the drugstore.
I also found the ultimate zapper to be a very useful tool in this fight. I would keep it by my bed and zap wherever I was itching....even around my head as I was eaten up by these things Be especially vigilant if you see little white pods on your skin as these are parasite eggs and they will hatch if dropped...that is why the salt scrubs are so good as they remove eggs and kill anything hatching. Best way is to get in the shower and wet your skin and shampoo your hair with treatment shampoo ( I like the miracle Ii moisturizing soap mixed with safe2use enzymes, also used selsum blue with menthol and added enzymes) turn off the water and let the shampoo stay in your hair to treat your scalp and then cover your whole body with salt scrub and let it stay on your skin for 10 minutes. After that wash everything off and spray your body with enzyme spray. This will help you keep it from spreading. Also stongly suggest you wear long sleve pj's to bed after treating yourself. NEVER wear your clothes more than once without laundering. If you work in an office spray your work area and chair with enzyme treatment. You can also put 8-10 drops of pepperment oil and borax mixed with water in a spray bottle and spray your work area....not as effective as the enzymes as they kill the things when they hatch but it will help until you can get the enzymes. There is much you can do....sad that we have to figure all this out on our own. I wasted several thousand dollars on doctors and got very little help. Best thing I did was iv hydrogen peroxide treatments from a dr here that does alternative medicine. That helped me a lot with the chronic fatique. Oh, you can also use peroxide to disinfect and clean....these things hate peroxide too. Hope this helps.....I know how absolutely miserable and frightening this illness can be. Be sure to take vitamins and something to boost your immune system. Garlic is very useful... cat's claw for immune system....oil of oregano capsules help a lot to kill them internally..... Pomegranite and Noni juice help immune system. This stuff will advance very rapidly if not agressively treated...best of luck!

Joann, I did put the drops in my eye and be sure to cover the area around your eye/eyelashes and eyebrows as the parasites that get in your eye also get in the hair follicles in your brows and lashes. Look in a magnifying mirror and pluck any long clear or light lashes or brows as they are probably parasites. I don't have much trouble with my eyes since using the colloidal in them....My 82 and 85 year old inlaws have also used it to clear their eyes with no problem. As I said before, be sure to use a good colloidal product....Herbalhealer.com is the best I have found so far. You must take care of your ears and nose at the same time or they will spread..gargling and swishing your mouth with colloidal silver and swallowing it will help you keep all of these openings free of parasites.
Try the dryer sheets in your wash and dryer loads and it will cut down a lot on the fibers....also helps a lot to shake out your laundry before putting in the washer and then again before the dryer. Keep a swifter and capture all the fiber bugs and cocoons that you shake out.....I haven't seen any for several weeks now since I started doing this. I used ammonia and borax and soaked my laundry while I waited for the enzyme products. Helps but is not as effective as the enzymes.....you can use them to bathe, shampoo your hair, clean your house and laundry so I consider them essential in this fight.
hope this helps bring you relief.

Joan, I use the safe2use pepperment enzyme cleaner...buy the gallon you will need it. I make my own treatment shampoo by using miracle Ii moistureizing soap(very good for healing your skin and treating the fungus that comes with this infection) and mixing it with the safe2use enzymes. I often will put this on my hair and come it thru and leave it on for a couple of hours....if my head itches I will sleep in it covered with a shower cap...you can also add a small amount of borax to this mix. I am down to only 3 small lesions on my scalp now so I am hopeful this thing is finally going away.....I am going to be bald if I don't get rid of it soon. The hair parasites did not show up for a couple of months for me. Best way to check is to get a nit comb and comb right against your scalp....these things nest in your hair right at the base of your hair follicles and you can brush your hair regularly and have no idea you have them. I suggest you check this asap as the best way to control them is to not let them get started. I use the metal nit comb (bought it at walmart) 2-3 times a day. It will capture all the little fibers from the base of your skull. This may be why you are seeing so many fibers around you as I don't see them anymore but was covered in them for several months. Apparently they breed on your scalp. Hope this helps.

Hello all,
This seems to be an auto-immune disease so building up my immune system has really helped me... I would recommend taking LOTS of vitamins, especially vitamin C at least 8g a day. Also a product called CellFood has helped immensely. I take it 3x a day and it has really helped to combat these suckers. The vitamin C and Cellfood are so effective because they *oxygenate* your blood. Parasites cannot survive in an oxygenated environment and it seems that the 'nanoparasite' does not like it very much either. Also keeping your body alkaline is VERY important because this promotes a healthier immune system and thus your body is more able to fight back. ( When your body has high levels of acidity it is more susceptible to infection and disease) I take pleo alkala. You can buy all this stuff off the web just google it. I really hope this helps you...let's kill this. (This is more of an internal treatment rec. bc unfortunately clearing them up outwardly doesn't prove to be enough). xo

Thats strange because garlic is something that is suppose to help. Maybe the garlic is stirring up the problem inside. I think the true cure found with addition to cleaning environment will be something that needs to be taken internally. Applying things to the skin provides temporary relief. I recently had an ear infection and was prescribed Amoxycillan at a 625 mg dose 3 times a day after the ear infection wouldn't clear up earlier. During the 2 weeks i found an increased activity on my skin and and under my skin. It was like a die off, so antibiotics do start to attack them i think this is what the garlic is doing to your husband problem is finding a combination of either antibiotics or natural remedies that will put an end to them.

Guys, you have to treat internally for parasites and externally to keep them from breeding and spreading. Garlic would make them more active due to die off but it will help . One thing that helped me a lot with the itching was to buy a bunch of the sticky tape lint removers and to roll them over my skin wherever it itched. I discovered that this would remove many things I could not see with the naked eye and helped me to keep them from speading. I would also do it after a treatment bath or salt scrub shower to see how much was left in my skin. Today when I check I have only very few small little fibers. You will never get rid of this without an aggressive treatment to improve your immune system. Eco Vie enzyme solution used as a topical spray and as a treatment bath helped . I use the safe2use enzymes daily to clean my house, do my laundry and spray my furniture and cars.
An inexpensive and very safe thing you can use to help is foodgrade diatmaceous earth. It is a finally ground mineral that is used as a food prservative. It is very good for parasites both internal and external. I take 1 tablespoon mixed with juice daily for internal and sometimes put it in my bath or I mix it with oils and cover my lesions with it. This stuff kills any kind of bugs but will not hurt people or pets. I have put it on outr mattresses and covered them with plastic covers....sometimes I put it on dryer sheets and throw it in the dryer if I am concerned about the laundry being infected. You can put it in carpet in house and car to keep them from spreading. You can buy it at Lowe's in the pest control dept. for external and laundry use but need the food grade (much finer particles) for internal. I buy this online.
I have had this since dec. of 06. Was covered in lesions head to toe, now am down to only 2-3 active lesions in my head. Best of luck to you all!

Hi,
Joan, I have been reading the info on this site. I am also struggling with this problem. Here is a short list of things I am doing that might help. Some of the ideas gotton from this site:
TEA TREE OIL: I use it mostly as a repellant. Very lightly brush your lashes with it. Careful not to touch the sensitive areas of your eyes or it will burn. I think this either repells the bastards or sizzles them. I don't know but it has helped them stay off my eyes. Also, brush some of the oil on your brow and lightly in ear and around nose. These guys haven't bothered these areas as much when I do this.
BATHE: If you can do it two times a day do it. This is so hellish but just do it. You will feel better. I use the Sun detergent (color safe bleach) as mentioned before. I use about 1 cup (hope this is not too bad for me), and some white vinegar. (I added the vinegar because I don't want to use chlorine bleach). Vinegar supposedly kill bacteria. I stay in the water about 40 minutes. You should dip your hair under the water. I have felt these strange bubble/like sensation coming out of my hair ( I don't know, but I think it MAY be the bugs). Hold your head under the water (plug your ears if you must) until you don't feel the sensation coming from your hair. While in the water, use a nylon like scrubbie thing to gently wipe off dead skin or possibly these bugs that are on the surface. After you are done with the bath, follow up with a shower and wash your hair with shampoo and wash your body off too with light soap.Use the scrubbie thing. Don't be too rough. It is your body afterall you have to take care.
I use Tea Tree Shampoo from Nature Gate. It smells good and is gentle.
Put some lotion mixed with a little tea tree on your body and you can use it in your conditioner. Rub some of the Tea Tree in your hair at the hair folicol if your hair itches. Always, use a clean towel and clean clothes never use the same clothes twice.
ENVIRONMENT: I don't know. I am having a hard time here. I have two air purifiers in the house. I don't know if it helps. I do vacuum, and I keep clothes separate (clean from infected/dirty). I could use other's help here, so if you have suggestions please help here. I thru away a lot of clothes and about to throw away my bed and other furniture. I am thinking about getting the emzymes spoken of, but don't know where to get them. Safe2use? Has anyone tried to fumigate their house?
COMMENTs: Ok, I hope this helps. I hope we can all get thru this. It's so hard to nab this thing. It's hard to get a good rest at night too. I pray to God that this will be over for all of us.
God Bless

..oh I forgot to mention some other things I am doing:
INTERNALLY: I am taking ParaGone (RenewLife) and taking the Silver stuff recommended by Charly. I am also taking Alfalfa power (based on info from someone who said Alfalfa worked for them in one of these posts. I figured it has good qualities and couldn't hurt. It aids in digestion etc..) I take Garlic capsules and a multi vitamin and now am going to start taking PrimRose. Dont' really know if any of this all works but I figure it couldn't hurt. We need to have our strength and energy during this stuff. Also, I think if we work at "pushing" this stuff out from the inside then the bathes leave it no where to go but out? don't know. Like someone said before, it's too bad we gotta figure this thing out for ourselves.
Hope this helps someone.

Don't know if I gave it to her or vice-a-versa. It's weird. Please see this website it ranges from cleaning your environment, natural remedies, cleaning body and also medical information to help cure this problem. It is very easy to read from obviously a very intelligent person. If you live in the US also allows you to submit a request to see a medical practitioner in your area that treats Morgellons and may help you on the prescription side of things. I hope this does help some of you as this disease is tough.

You will probably want to just bathe with the detergent/vinegar 1 x a day, I do it at night before bed. Also, cut down on the detergent as you get better and don't forget after your bath (or shower) to put on either lotion or body oil (mixed with some Tea Tree) so you don't get too dry.

Hi can anyone tell me what "Springtails" are?
It seems as if some of you have something more extreme than I do. Here were and are my symptoms:
I started off in May getting a strange rash on my forearms. It got worse. I thought it was an allergy but then had it a lot.
I then eventually started feeling creepy crawlly things in my feet and hair especailly when I was around other people as if it wanted to "jump"
It was so strange. At that same time I felt little un seen bugs trying to enter my eyes, ears, and nose. It was when I felt the creepy crawly things that I thought this might be a parasite. I started using the Tea Tree as I described above and it helped. Of course I wash all the time.
But I never got the skin legions thank God!
I am confused, it seems either there are stages or we have something different. I don't know what Springtails are.
Also, do any of you see anything just under the skin? Every once in a while I see a scratch on my skin as though this thing, whatever it is, came out of it. It varies in lenth maybe 1/2 inch to an inch.
So, maybe we all can describe our symptoms to see if we have the same thing?

Trying,
Springtails are the most prevalent insect on earth. They are also called snowfleas or collembola. There are many different varieties. They are natures garbage cleaners. Normally not considered to be parasitic but I know for certain that I have them in my body and hair......there is a doctor who wrote a letter about them as parasites in 1998 on the NUSPA website. Once you have them in your body and scalp they are really hard to get rid of. Many of us have different symptoms but the fibers seem to be universal. I have been fighting this since Jan. 07 and seem to be doing pretty well. had them bad in my eyes, ears and nose but that has almost gone away since I used the colloidal silver 2-3 times daily and also sprayed my ears and nose several times a day with grapefruit seed extract. I also use tea tree oil....found it worked better to heal my lesions...I had them all over my body, if I mixed it with emu oil, colloidal silver, grapefruit seed extract. I sprayed this on my body a couple of times a day....especially where it itched. There are many stages to this parasite/parasites. I also get the track marks and have found they will stop dead if sprayed with this mix or an enzyme mix. To see where they are located in your skin a blacklight can be very helpful as can bathing in peroxide, borax, epsom salts... I also add tea tree oil, pepperment oil and lavendar oil to my baths and this helps too. this seems to make them swell and you can see where they are located to remove them. If you have any areas that look like callouses it is important to soak them until soft and then remove them with tweezers as these are nests for the little buggers. For anyone with lesions those tape lint rollers are a godsend to get this stuff under control. If you will roll them over your body where it itches it will help you to remove them and their eggs and the fibers. I also rolled my sheets and pillows before bed and when I got up in the am ...then sprayed the linens with enzymes. Rolling your body after bathing and before dressing helps keep from contaminating your clothes and environment. Dryer sheets in the wash and dryer will grab the bugs and you can then remove them. Also soak your laundry in borax and ammonia for a couple of hours and then wash again in hot water with regular detergentand fabric softener. Fabric softener helps keep the fibers from sticking to your laundry..I use the softener and the sheets in the wash and the dryer sheets in the dryer. I have dipped my dryer sheets in de and thrown that in the laundry (especially towels) and that seemed to help a lot. Hope this helps....and for the record. I am living a near normal life now...still have to deal with it daily but nothing like the first four months. I have lost over half my hair and nails and my gums have rapidly deteriorated but I am doing better and just keep fighting this thing one day at a time. Good luck to all!

I have also noticed they are worse on some days....especially around the full moon. they seem to get much more active when I eat carbs...try restricting your carbs and see if it helps...does for me.
If they are really active I add 2-4 ozs of enzymes in the tub and put my whole body including my head, under the water. the amount varies with the size of the tub. I have found it helps a lot if I add epsom salts with lavendar ( I buy at walmart) to my bath also. . I put the DE in my bath a couple of times a month. I haven't measured it as I know it cannot hurt you as long as you aren't breathing the powder in your lungs
I know this is very rough Joan. I am sorry you are going thru such a tough
time. Try to make your bath a relaxing experience as the stress seems to make it worse. If you have a lot of active lesions do not use towels. Use papertowels and put them in a plastic bag and throw them away.If you have been using towels you need to soak them overnight in the enzyme solutions and then wash again with the dryer sheets in the wash. I also add fabric softener as this helps make the fibers release from the towels . Shake your laundry before putting in the wash, again before putting in the dryer and one more time after removing from the dryer. Keepo a swifter in the laundry room and gather up all the things that shake out of your laundry. Put in a sealed plastic bag and throw away. Also be sure to clean your car and spray it and your bed, and furniturewith eh enzyme treatments. The only place I see the fibers anymore are in my scalp when I comb my heair with a nitcomb.
It is best to rinse off in the shower after taking a bath during the really active phases. I dry with a hairdryer most of the time now. Another thing I discovered helps me when my scalp is really bad is mixing olive oil, organic apple cider vinigar with the mother (I use Braggs brand) and salt in a bottle and combing this thru my hair. I cover with a shower cap and sleep in it. It will sting at first but usually stops in a minute or two. This helps me to sleep and seems to be helping me heal the lesions in my scalp. Hope this helps you find some relief. You are in my prayers.

One scientist suggests Neuro Cutaneous Syndrome. A Dr. Schwartz suggests gram negative bacterium with flagella called Stenotrophomonas maltophilia. There has been speculation that it is related to Colony Collapse Disorder (nosema cerenae) and genetically modified Bacillus Thuringiensis cotton
Many sufferers have resorted to doing their own research with their own microscopes and petri dishes. Some of the resulting speculation is that the organism is a modified cyanobacterium. Some research has pointed at R. Seeberi as the base organism with higher primate, a marine specie and insect gene input, some research suggests a transgenic nematode, strongyloid nematode, or microbivores from nanotechnology (nanomedicine) used in industrial/agricultural processes, but nothing is conclusive since the structures and colors of the fibers reported don't seem completely uniform.
It has also been called (by some) Cutaneous Larval Syndrome, Filarial Hookworm (Asia), Leishmania (Africa) and S. Ratti (South Pacific).
I don't have Morgellons or any medical training, but I visit the Morgellons forum at Curezone.com and see from other forums on Morgellons that there really is no progress because the medical community won't even recognize it. I have heard many claims that covering the skin with Vaseline cured the lesions (to what extent, I don't know, unknown if any effect on the parasites). Could the fibers actually be a breathing/foraging apparatus?
Morgellons is characterized by parasites that visibly move under the surface of the skin and get into the eyes, nose and scalp, cause horrifying skin lesions, and grow FIBERS (seemingly inanimate).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is actually an edited e-mail that I wrote to Dr. Williams because it doesn't seem like there's going to be any help from the medival community. The Mobil 1 synthetic oil sounds good. I wonder if it cuts off the parasite's supply of oxygen. The esters of synthetic oil also carry an electric charge. If they are sensitive to electrical charge, would electrolytes or alkalizing your blood change their behavior or inactivate them? When you pick up a battery or hold a magnet, do the fibers bend or the parasites spread?
http://www.realclassic.co.uk/techfiles/oil030319.html
When you go this page, press CTRL-F...enter ELECTRICAL...and press enter. The word will be highlighted.
Taking baths with alfalfa seeds is reported to pull the organisms out of the skin for MOST people so I guess Morgellons is not the same for everyone, but what is in the SUN POWERED (brand?) laundry detergent?
Jason
31 Jul 2007, 05:32
As far as i am aware Sun Powder is a brand of laundry detergent in the US. I agree there is definitely an element of electrical charge that distracts bacterium/parasites progress. I get strong twitching and crawling of the skin when around any elctromagnetic forces i.e laptops, computer work stations, tvs etc. I also think electrolytes like salt? and alkalizing your body makes a difference. Definitely haven't experienced it as a cure. Taking a lemon, apple cider vinegar, sea salt and bicarbonate/baking soda in a glass of water definitely makes a difference and quickly. If i cant sleep at night after spraying enzymes and bathing in essential oils, vinegar and epsom salts, i do the alkalizing before going to bed and it changes the whole feel of my skin. It doesnt taste great but it sure beats laying awake with constant crawling and stinging. Interesting what you have to say about the Synthetic motor oil. Not sure though if the lighter fluid is worth putting on your skin considering it is has chemicals in it which are carcinogetic. I have read a cure where a guy used magnets on his body when he slept and took the salt + vitamin c protocol used for lyme disease and he noted no more crawling of stinging on the skin. I have just recently been away and found swimming in salt water and also the hotel pool which has chlorine help greatly and also laying in the sun also helped. I was only away for 4 days but the improvement was amazing. The other thing i find strange is whilst i was in the aeroplane the skin symptons disappeared. Not sure why?

Joan,
Sea salt you buy at your local supermarket. I use 1/4 teaspoon of sea salt in a glass of water as well as a whole lemon squeezed, 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. The salts i use for my skin in the bath are epsom salts (magnesium sulfate) which can be easily bought at the chemist.
You need to get your stress levels down (i know easier said then done) i just went on a holiday and spent most my time in the water and sun and just relaxed and feel so much better for it. It is very important to keep working on increasing your immune system otherwise this thing will get worse. Have a break and get away and try and relax it will do you good.

I totally believe there is an electro-magnetic component to this illness. I have used an ultimate zapper(square wave frequency generator) on my 82 yr old father in law and myself and saw much improvement. He still uses it every day and is doing much better. I recently bought a rife machine (very expensive but showing great results these past 2 weeks) you can burn incense around your computer or put menthol crystals around and they will stay away. I just reorderd some eco vie and DSP skin cream....great products that help a lot to control external symptoms. This is a wicked multi tiered infection that has to be fought from many directions. I am sure the ocean water helped Jason a lot as it is full of minerals and salt. I do something similar to Jason's drink daily and have noticed it helps my skin also. I found a great site last night I suggest you all visit. Very clear instructions and covers much of the products I have been using (took me months to discover on my own) https://www.morgellonstreatmentsteps.com/Morgellons_Topical_Treatmen.html....hope you guys find this site helpful.....I have studied nutrition for 28 years and was impressed with the quality of information ....Verdict is still out if this can be " cured" but I am certain that you can recover a decent quality of life with aggressive treatment.
P.S. Joan I get a wonderful lavendar epsom salt at Walmart that has been very helpful in my baths. Smells yummy and is good for your skin...
if you can afford it the DSP cream is a god send too.....seems to be helping me keep from scarring when the lesions heal. stops them from spreading and kills them fast if treated when they first show up. Itching stops almost immediately when you put this stuff on and it smells divine!
FYI....I live in Houston but was in upstate New York when I first became ill with this....seems to be EVERYWHERE!
Love and light to you all!

Optimistic,
That is the website (Morgellions Treatment steps) i said in earlier posts to visit - i agree it is probably the clearest most concise guide i have seen on Morgellons.

Does anyone know if the dsp can be used in the nose or on the head?
Jason

DSP is safe and not toxic. Therefore putting some on your nose and ears shouldnt be a problem. Probably wouldnt put too much in your ears to the point of blocking them up. I wouldnt put it in your eyes as they would be too sensitive for the cream. But you can put it on your eyelashes and eyebrows.
