The Green Desert Clay - Calcium Bentonite/Montmorillonite

By far the most potent healing clay we've ever studied, this pristine desert clay, often marketed as calcium bentonite, has an extensive history of use dating back at least 200 years. The first known users were the Pauite and the Shoshone Native Americans that frequented the area where this clay was discovered. Clay use was introduced to "westerners" that used the trade route called the Old Spanish Trail which went from New Mexico to Los Angeles. A local natural hot spring attracted many visitors to the region, especially in the 1930's - 1950's. The region was busiest while the Tidewater Railroad was still in operation serving the mining needs of the Mojave Desert.

This clay has been featured and its uses documented in several books, including "The Clay Disciples", by Cano Graham, and "Upon a Clay Tablet", by Jason R. Eaton.

The Three Clay Blend Supplement - Green Desert Clay, Red Desert Clay and Sodium Bentonite

Having reviewed nearly all of the scientific literature available, and having corresponded with and assisted clay enthusiasts around the world for five years when eytonsearth.org was first established, it became clear that the hype and generalizations surrounding any particular clay was a combination of marketing lingo and ignorance. Since we worked with hundreds of individuals, all using different types of clay, it became apparent that there were many excellent clays with therapeutic properties out there. What made one clay different than another? Were they all the same, or were some better than others? If so, for what purpose?

Over the next five years, a great deal of time and effort was spent collecting many different clays, studying them, accurately classifying them, and attempting to determine what made each both valueable and special. Another two years was spent determining the prospect of compatibility. Could certain clays be combined in order to harness the unique properties of each?

The answer to this last question was a resounding... Sometimes, yes, and sometimes no! ...all depending on the specific use.

The first master formulation, combining three of the most unique clays available in North America was eventually born: A supreme edible three clay blend. This blend was born from studying clays commonly used in traditional, "native" medicine as well as "folk" medicine practiced in the 1800's through the mid 1900's. When designing this and other formulas, the following considerations were at the forefront:

1. Particle Characteristics - What exact particles, and particle sizes, made up a particular clay?

2. Mineral Characteristics - The primary anions in a particular clay, the pH of the clay, adsorption and absorption characteristics, as well as mineral content.

3. Effectiveness and History of Use - Combining clays with unique strengths in order to harness the effects of each.

Most of the studies done, along with the data collected, had to be done from scratch; work like this had never been done before.

The Two Clay Blend - Green Desert Clay and Red Desert Clay

This blend was developed as a supplement blend for those who, for whatever reason, don't like the use of sodium bentonite. However, after formulating this blend, we quickly realized that the combination was perfect for an all purpose clay. It works as an excellent poultice, compress, and skin care clay; far better than the red desert clay alone, and easier to mix than the green desert clay alone. It is also a much more affordable choice than using the red desert clay seperately.

French Green Illite - Raw Clay Granules

This amazing non-swelling, marine sedimentary clay, imported from France, makes an excellent skin care clay, as well as an excellent internal use supplement. Many people believe that our bulk green desert clay makes the best facial and skin care clay, followed closely by our red desert clay. However, raw illite is equal to, perhaps even superior to either clay.

Since this type of clay (mica) doesn't adsorb water readily, it also dries very quickly. By combining this clay with our bulk green desert clay, or even our two clay blend, a truly miraculous topical use clay can be created.

This clay was one of two clays used by Buruli Busters in Africa to treat Burli Ulcerations (Buruli Ulcers). French illite was used first to addresss the mycoplasma infection and debride the wound. Then, a clay similiar (smectite) to our bulk green desert clay was used to finish the healing process.

French green illite has a very earthy taste, texture and smell. It is probably one of the top three tasting edible earths used in supplements. While this type of clay is not as effective at colon cleansing than smectites, any edible clay can be greatly improved by simply mixing a small amount of illite water to any edible clay or clay blend.

Instructions and information: Using raw French Illite.

Three Clay Blend - External - Old Blend (discontinued)

This amazing synergetic blend of clay both cleanses and nourishes skin. Not only does using clay for daily care eliminate chronic and dangerous exposure to toxic cosmetics, but clay actually does a far superior job in both cleansing pores and enducing a healthy deep detox response in the soft tissues. Add a touch of your favorite essential oils, and experience a world-class skin care product.

This clay was originally developed as a wound care clay that could be left on wounds (with the proper training) for 24 hours a day.

This clay is a blend of our signature green desert clay, red desert clay, and an acidic, sulphorous pyrophyllite. The lower pH makes it an ideal skin care and spa clay.

Instructions and information: Using the three clay external use skin care and spa clay blend. This blend has been discontinued except for special order requests.

USP Grade Sodium Bentonite

This water washed, ultrafine USP grade sodium bentonite powder is a perfect detoxifcation and colon cleansing clay. With an average particle size between 40 -74 microns in diameter, this is one--if not THE-- best single clay product for use as a supplement for those interested in safely and effectively cleansing the digestive tract.

This ultrapure clay is dried, milled and processed using the single known method for clay purification which doesn't involve chemically processing clay or other harsh methods that may change the actual particle characterists of the clay: water washing.

This clay is also ideal for those who don't like the strong taste of the other natural healing clays. This pharmaceutical grade clay has no taste. To use this clay for colon cleansing, mix only one teaspoonful in an eight ounce glass of water. Use only as directed.

This type of clay is the single colon detox clay choice of famous and capable naturopaths and herbologists such as Dr. Schulze, Dr. Anderson, and V.E. Irons.

Instructions and information: Using the USP Grade Sodium Bentonite.

Liposomal Essential Oils (LEOs) - Antimicrobial Herbal Wash - Micro/Nano Emulsion: Concentrate

This extremely unique and one-of-a-kind product has been initially developed to help people address chronic infections in the body. This is a professional grade product, and should only be used by those with a great deal of self-awareness and discipline. Using essential oils internally is a controversial treatment method. The liposomal form of essential oils is even more potent, although it is also far easier to titrate.
